I'm not the OP, but I am sort of in the same boat. And I hung in there with Glee because I've been in the same situation with other shows and sometimes have managed to get over my dislike of a character or actor, or my liking for everything else about the show made the irritation worth gritting my teeth through. Sawyer on Lost and Pete/Kartheiser on Mad Men are two notable examples. So I gave Blaine/DC and the writers an honest shot because that's honestly worked for me in the past, and because the show had been my shiny happy place for more than a year (not that I hadn't seen the flaws, but they hadn't troubled me at all. They rolled off me like water off a duck's back.) When season 3 was about to start and I was dreading the prospect of more Blaine more than I was looking forward to seeing the characters I do love, I bailed. And so far, it definitely feels like the right decision.
You know, just sayin'.
