You can't help who you fall in love with though, also nothing is guaranteed. My grandparents were 15 years apart, and my granddad died 15 years ago, my Nan is going strong still. My parents are 9 years apart, and my Mum who is the younger one has a lot more health problems than my Dad (who are also pretty much the textbook case of soulmates, it's ridiculous. But sweet, but also disgusting at times, because they have a very twisted sense of humour).

Well, my spouse is nine years older than me, and today is his birthday. So I wasn't saying you shouldn't get in a relationship with an older person, just saying it kind of bums me out to see the person you love age :/
