Considering this is the first time I've heard that rumour, I don't think your supervillainy is as far-reaching as you'd like to think. Was it a Tumblr thing? Anyway, I'm surprised anyone believed this - considering how shaky DC's treatment of any character who isn't heterosexual can be, something as underepresented in the media as asexual seems a huge stretch for them. Plus every time DC has a character who happens to be a virgin, they tend to fetishise them to hell and back, having other characters throw themselves as them. The virgin character usually ends up interested in several people but never makes it beyond kissing (like Tim or Connor Hawke). Although, considering what happened to Cassie after she lost her virginity (can't remember if Kon was a virgin at that point or not) I think Tim and his future partner is safer holding on to his V-card.
