1. Sometimes I get that feeling, but more often than not I'm interested enough in the plot to keep on going.

5. In all honesty, I have to agree. While I originally flocked so as not to get trolls and such, now it's more a matter of "wtf what if so-and-so saw this. D:"

7. I don't know much about this whole Nevada thing, but I'd say that if you want to do it, then good on you. What someone else did should not have to affect your creativity. I just know that every time I see the name and have to double-take. I live in Nevada (the state), so it's mildly amusing to me. ^^'

25. Word. If the girl is shown in canon to really, truly love the guy she's with, it shouldn't matter if he's kinda ugly, kinda dumb, or kinda anything else "unattractive." Society as a whole needs to understand this.

26. "Wasting your talent" is a meaningless debate. If the person in question enjoys doing what they do, then it's not wasted. Sure, we can say we wish they'd do something else, but it's not up to you or anyone else to decide they're "wasting their talent."

1 - that's pretty sad. :/ Maybe if you tried looking at the shows and whatever and looked for other things you liked and tried focusing on them? That's what I do with some series that I think are utter shit yet continue to read.

8 - actually, yeah, I can understand that. Some people seem to think that the partner who always "tops" in the bedroom would dominate his/her partner in other situation, so per your example Sasuke/Naruto would be an entirely different dynamic than Naruto/Sasuke.

That said... ahaha SasuNaru. I loathe that ship sososososo MUCH after seeing some really smug and obnoxious fancomics where the "punchline" was Sasuke ass-sexed Naruto and showed him his place. Made me wish I could crush somebody's skull with my bare hands. I don't care about either character, much less who they're shipped with... but now I want to see NaruSasu with mass clone gangfucking and every - every - clone is a dickgirl Naruko.

Also, 8. I used to be obsessed with SasuNaruSasu. I mean, I still think it's alright and will read fanfiction on it, but only if it's incredibly well-structured and the characterization can blow me away.

To #23: Heartily agreed! I love that show, even when it has its weird David E. Kelley moments. It's been renewed for another season, but ... no Brad, no Denise, no Paul, no Claire. The up side is that Jerry gets to be a full-time cast member. :-)

14. I love Gantz because it's the manga equivalent of the horrible dregs of pop culture. It's like Snakes on a Plane, but with more hot chicks and shit blowing up and hilarious sex scenes. The pin-up chapter pages are part of its horrible, horrible charm. Hell, I don't even like it ironically, I just plain like it.

1. A lot of us have "triggers" like that, I lose interest if my favorite character gets killed or written out of the show. If your main interest is a ship then it's perfectly understandable to lose interest if the potential isn't there anymore.

There was this episode where they had a fight and when they reconciled [dressed as pink flamingos] there was this song by Lifehouse "You and Me" playing, *omg* I couldn't believe it, there they were, Daniel Jackson and James T. Kirk [or at least the actors who played them] two halves of two of the slashiest pairings on Sci-Fi giving loving looks at each other with one of the most romantic songs playing.

#6: Seriously, YGO is a pretty damn fun place to be around and the series itself has an amazing backstory that though perhaps is not all to accurate but fun none the less if you're an Egypt-freak like me. I'm both sad and a bit happy that it's gotten less of a fanbase though. Less insane fangirls. Hey we gotta try and see it from the bright side. X3

The Ancient Egyptian bits (no matter how historically innaccurate) are part of what got me into the series in the first place! ♥

Not at all! I am a fan of Boogiepop as well and have managed to get several friends to like the manga after lending it to them. I can't say I've been able to get ahold of more than one of the books due to lack of finances but so far I've fallen in love with it as well.

As for the anime though, I've never seen it before so I'm neither for or against it yet. I still like what music I've managed to find from it, though.

But I must say it's sad how few people know about it. Oh well, more pimping to be done then.

Fuck yeah, another Boogiepop fan! ♥ The novels are my absolute favorites, but I'm a major Kouji Kadono fangirl, so~

Eeeh. I like the music fine, expecially Yuki Kajiura's "Inspired by Boogiepop Phantom" album. There's a couple things I just didn't like about it, like how they tossed in a bunch of random, unneeded characters. And don't get me started on the live action movie!

Yeah, I pimp it out to everyone I know. Nobody seems to like a good mystery anymore, though! :|
