I didn't like that either but I think the pregnancy was an accident. And tbh, I think that relationship was a complete mess.

I know a lot of people who think that XD I like both characters but I find them horrible as a couple.

This is exactly how I feel about them. Lupin is one of my favorite characters (not really sure why, but I'm attached to him) and Tonks, before she went batty for Lupin, was awesome and spunky. Once they got together, it was just a jumbled, awkward mess.

I know everyone doesn't like Lupin tied down so he can have his awesomefungaytimes with Sirius/Sirius's ghost, but I really wanted a queer Tonks to end up in a relationship with another woman, most probably Hooch. Someone she'd have a sort of rapport with. Didn't she and Lupin only have one conversation for us to see in the whole series? And it was the most awkward conversation ever for Harry to play witness to.

Wow, I can't believe I never really thought about it before but I agree with you.. I think I would have most liked Tonks to be queer and even Tonks/Hooch is such a cute/awesome idea. I do believe you may have possibly maybe given me another 'ship >___> Thank you!

Yes, this. I personally think that if they'd lasted out the war they would have divorced because, well, absolute mess much? This is why pairings can ruin totally awesome otherwise characters.

Fully agreed. She was awesome in book five. I thought she'd be a favorite secondary character for me. Then wham.

I can't believe what happened to her in book 6. Don't get a guy you like, give up on everything? That's a terrible message. She should've told Remus to go to hell and found someone else.

I kind of wrote the relationship off as Remus just giving up finally. I never saw him as actually loving Nymphadora- he DID try to run from her after getting her knocked up in Book 7, so... yeah, I just never saw the love between them at all. More like her obsession and him finally saying "okay" to get her to shut up... that, and according to JK, he liked to be liked, so it's possible that he just didn't want to upset her and did enjoy some of the attention.
