I love the idea of a male character being named Zelda. It makes me wonder - if Link's name had been Zelda, I wonder if that would have made Zelda a more culturally acceptable name for a boy?

I know some Zeldas. It's just a kind of old-fashioned, around here, so they're two generations above me.

Zelda isn't a common name, but it isn't an overly strange name either. I know of a couple of Zeldas, but they are all female. Sadly, I don't know any Links...though I've always liked the name.
