Sokka and Katara bother me but not Heimdall being black not so much... because I just assumed he was black in the comics. The thing is that comic characters, especially minor ones, shift characteristics throughout the lifespan of the comics because the comics last so long. So I figured, even if he started out white, it's pretty possible he was black somewhere in there. Like Nick Fury.

But eh, honestly, I don't care if the race is wrong as long as the characters look right-- Katara, actually, didn't look all that wrong. Her skin could have been darker, but she was pretty close to being right. Having blue eyes, I can see how someone might figure on casting a white person.

Having said that, I agree that if some racelifting is wrong, it's all wrong.
