Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm almost certain there's some RNG going on with Pottermore to ensure the houses are somewhat even. It would be a hell of a coincidence that the ~400k users already on just happened to fit in each house that's got roughly ~95k students in them...

I got sorted into Gryffindor. While I am loyal, I admit I'm a bit of a jerk sometimes and have been called clever more than a few times in my life. I'm also quite good at finding things online. Basically, I could've "fit" into any one of the houses and I think the same is true for most people.

OP got in on day 2, and still remembers a time when there were 7,000 Ravenclaws to 4,000 Gryffindors, Slytherins, and Hufflepuffs. Nope. It's more balanced now because there are more people in.

It's more balanced now because I'm sure they added the RNG after they noticed the imbalance. It seems highly improbable that ~400k people would be evenly sorted into 4 houses.

I have a sneaking suspicion they've updated the questions too after people complained they didn't make any sense or were vague. It is a beta, so there are going to be tweaks and changes.
