If muggles had discovered the wizarding world in canon, I would have sent JKR a truly long letter emphasizing my sheer disappointment. I ENJOYED the fact that the wizarding world was this suuuper-sekrit world hidden away from the average eye. I don't like the idea of muggles and wizards mixing. I don't even know why. I just don't.

Same. Especially as they started as children's books, it would ruin the ability to play pretend that Hogwarts is really out there. It's like... the difference between a present from Santa and one from a relative. It's still free stuff, but...
