Oh god yes, and the social justice policing that goes on there too, it's poisoning fandom slowly but surely. Can't do this, can't write that, such-and-such is objectively bad and should be seen as a fandom-sin. One day the amount of self-righteousness sumgness is going to implode in on itself and the whole site will disappear up its own ass, leaving fandom to recover its creativity, Joie de vivre, and freedom to explore, again. That day cannot come soon enough.

... I really haven't seen anything like that on AO3. I would assume it varies from fandom to fandom though.

I see more of that here than there too, but you're wrong on that. I hate to go all 4chan on everyone, but the social justice warriors are the cancer that is killing fandom.

I think it's roughly equal. Before we begged techno to ban SJ-related secrets altogether, the anti-SJ crowd was getting as shrill and hyperbolic and irritating as the SJ crowd.
