Sometimes I think about cutting my hair because I'm sick of being mistaken for straight and to save on shampoo/time. But then I realized you have to keep cutting it and spend money on scissors or clippers or saloons or whatever short haired people have to spend money on.

I won't lie, I think maintaining short hair is more work than people make it out to be. Not in daily maintenance (I spend maybe 5 minutes per day, LOL), but in finding a good enough stylist to shape your cut flatteringly setting aside the time and the money to visit that stylist every four weeks. It's a real PITA sometimes.

I had a pixie cut before and loved it. But then I would have to go the hair dressers every two months if I wanted to keep it looking nice, and that shit would've been expensive, so eventually I just let it grow out.
I'm like debating weather to go back to it or not.

On topic: I just got a pixie-ish haircut about six weeks ago, and my only regret is that this means regular visits to a hair salon. Not only expensive, but I've always had this aversion to other people touching my hair, so it's a bit uncomfortable for me.

If you use some product and really work on styling it you can probably push off another haircut for a while longer.
