It was originally a stand-alone short that aired on Nick in between shows; that short circulated online for a while (maybe a year? at least a few months) before it was picked up as a show, where most of its current fanbase has come from.

Don't know if I agree with the "troll" sentiments, OP just sounds young (the fandoms are all fairly recent, too). This sort of thing used to bother me, too -- maybe not to the point of RAGE, but I felt strongly about it. There was both some amount of oversaturation involved, and also some amount of worry that whatever the object of said fandom is, it would fail in the spotlight, or be dismissed as a fad in a few months, or get a ton of backlash.

Anyway, now it's just kind of great when people like things I like... so maybe OP will eventually chill.
