I used to feel this exact same way. I stopped because, you know what? It's a very difficult feeling to maintain over the years. At some point I just realized that it was pointless and that the only one who was suffering was me. I was ruining those things from me, not the new fans, not the producers, not the writers, not the actors, no one. Just me. And fuck that. I want to be happy and I want to enjoy things that appeal to me and there is no reason to let anyone, not even me, ruin that. Life is short and resent makes it shorter.
