I actually love that this show was so non-romance focused, but because of the lack of age-appropriate love interests the fandom (at least what I've seen on pixiv) has some scary pairings, like yeah, Kotetsu/Karina and Yuri/Kaede. I don't even know.

I think Karina's crush on Kotetsu is cute, but it's only cute as long as it's unrequited, if Kotetsu would actually respond to them I'd be majorly freaked out tbh.

To be fair, I think most of the Yuri & Kaede fanart is platonic superhero team-up stuff. Somebody came up with a cool name for it and the fandom kind of took to it as the last few episodes were airing.
