See, I thought that and then I remembered his childish and terrible joke with the electric chair and there's a little terribly childish and inappropriate humour there too

Of course if they found an alien whoopie cushion he'd be morally obliged (for archiving purposes, of course!) to try it out and see how it worked and if it had any side effects.
