Did you cheat on your boyfriend and then confess to him so that he could forgive you, but not before drugging him to make sure he forgot all about that 'confession'? Because if you did, that's probably one of the reasons you're sitting somewhere alone crying into your pizza.
There are characters that I feel sorry for and can identify with (to a degree) in Torchwood. Gwen is definitely not one of them, especially in that episode.
Also, hating something you've never even watched is pretty stupid. Being vocal about that hate is really stupid.
