Well I don't believe for a second that you've actually ever read a fic that has that as a summary.

Hahahaha. No, Fanfic.net is full of those, with bonus points for spelling "summaries" as "summeries."

In my case, I'll admit never having made it through a fic that began that way, although I've attempted a few. I don't think the writers of them should GTFO or anything; I'm glad they're writing, and I hope they keep it up. Doesn't mean they'll be on my to-read list right now, though.
