That's great, except that OP was saying that they would've joined the Nazi party. So there's a big difference between being a Nazi party member and being a German civilian in Nazi Germany. So yeah, maybe I feel bad for normal people who couldn't do anything at that point (though they still let their country get to the point that it was controlled by fascists in the first place), but I don't feel bad for Nazis, who were willing participants.

This thread was already derailed by the time we got this point, but hey. (Also, maybe if OP realized that there was a big difference between being a German soldier and being a Nazi, this thread would be different, but OP's secret was stupid to begin with, so whatever)
