I totally get that a lot of radio stations and the like are overplaying her songs. But ever since a friend of mine said "I'm so sick of hearing Rihanna everywhere, it's making me like Chris Brown lol" I can't hate on artists just for being popular enough that they're overexposed. (And, yeah, that Chris Brown comment made my stomach turn.)

Wow. I'm no Rihanna fan, but that is just in such poor taste.

I know, right? Saddest part is she wasn't even kidding - she's since been praising Chris Brown's music on her FaceBook. Because if radio stations/MTV/whatever play a lot of a female artist's songs, the best way to express your distaste is to start supporting that artist's abuser.
