I was SO disappointed in Thor. I don't see how anyone could have liked it better than Captain America (and I've never picked up a single comic or video for either of them before, so it's not like I went in terribly biased.

And what disappointed you then? Underwhelmed, I'd understand, but since you didn't know the source material, you could have hardly had any expectation either, or did you?

Well, I had an expectation of enjoying myself and not feeling like I wasted money on a movie full characters that were incredibly one dimensional for 3/4 of the show. And in that regard, I was horribly disappointed to find out I had not gone to a good movie, but instead I had gone to a relatively shitty one, particularly when compared to the richness I found in other comics-based movies, despite also being largely unfamiliar with the source.

But that's just my opinion, I know.
