Now I'm confused because Yowie can be pronounced two ways just as Bowie can.

Bowie - where the bow is pronounced like bow down. Think of a Bowie knife.

Bowie - where the bow is pronounced like bow and arrow. Think of David Bowie.

No. Bowie knife is pronounced as boo-ee.

Um...except they're pronounced the exact same. David Bowie chose that last name because he liked the word "Bowie Knife".

Also, "bowie knife" isn't pronounced with a "bow" like "bow down". That's just...weird and I don't know who pronounces it like that? O.O

Actually the bowie knife can be pronounced two ways boh-ee or boo-ee, whereas David Bowie is pronounced boh-ee.
