Pet peeve:
Loose = not tight
Lose = misplace or fail to keep something

There's nothing wrong or anti-feminist about wanting to be more attractive (provided it's doctor-approved and done in a healthy manner).

As a woman, I typically see two types of feminism-- people who want gender equality and people who want to put women to be better than men. I feel like both genders equally wish to be attractive, though there is greater social pressure on women than there is on men.

Since you admit you don't ever think it'll happen, I feel like your desire to be attractive when meeting "Mr. Right" is more a desire to form a good impression on a perspective companion. Though they are probably less ready to admit it, I'm sure many men have a bikini picture that is their workout motivation. Since it's a fairly gender-nonspecific action, I don't think it's particularly anti-feminist. Besides, if you lose the weight that has been plaguing you, I'm sure you'll feel more confident. And isn't the state of confidence in oneself part of what you're hoping to promote in the idea of gender equality?
