Some of the best writers of m/m slash I've met have been lesbians or straight men (though gender queer in one case). One of them openly discusses his fic with his wife, too.

As a lesbian myself, I'm just baffled as to why you would want to. You can write what you want, I just wish there were more lesbian fics out there.

I don't know why, I just do it because it entertains me. I read lesbians fics but I just don't write em' and I'm not going to force myself just to make others happy.
