That's the way the stereotypical straight male (and sadly enough, a lot of real guys as well) work.

Or. I hear this a lot. From both females and males. Girls are MUCH MORE in TOUCH with their emotions, so of course girl/girl is more beautiful than boy/boy. Because. OF COURSE. Guys can't be romantic. That's a girl thing. Girls are more SENSITIVE. Boys are so BRUTISH!!! (yeah, right.)

So sorry for the rant, but I hate the whole... M/M shipping isn't romantic, it's all about the sex OR M/M shipping is so EWWWWW because dudes don't do that to other dudes; let's see some chick/chick action instead!! :DDDDD

I haven't seen this. What I *have* seen is attitudes like one posted on this very comm a couple months ago - a woman posting how she wished she had been a male because m/m slash fiction had convinced her that as a woman, she could never find as pure and beautiful a love as that between two men.
