LMAOOO I know exactly what you mean. I had a fellow fan like that in fandom as a teenager, but there was also a guy I legit hated in elementary school that, had my life been a piece of fiction, most people would have shipped me with. Awkwarrrd.

I've had friends "ship" me with someone before, it's creepy as hell. >_>;;

But then, looking back on it, if we were a manga, I can see why we were shippable... It didn't work out between RL!Us, but I can see why we were shippable...

I wanna know who these two are now so I can start shipping them, and writing some anatomically improbable slashfic. Plus some dub-con, where OP finally loses it and drugs their rantee and does all sorts of nasty stuff while the rantee drools and mutters about how sweet it is. Then they have babies, because babies make everything better.

When I was little, I adored the Anne of Green Gables books. One day I was going on and on to my mother about how perfect Anne and Gilbert were for each other, even though they squabbled all the time and were competitive in school and so forth, and my mom said, "That sounds just like you and [boy in the class who crushed on me but whom I loathed]." AND I WAS SO UPSET. Because that kid was a gross asshole! (And not like Gilbert at all. Hmph!)

That kind of relationship is fun and totally shippable in fiction, but in real life? Not so fun.

Haha yeah, I get the feeling that those intensely bickering couples I adore so much wouldn't not work out so well in real life. Similar thing happened to me (classmates teased us relentlessly), but I honestly was not attracted to him and he's gay anyway.
