I would consider it rape. True, a dead body is not a person, but defiling someone's dead body shows an obvious disrespect for the person that that body used to belong to. It's not about the dead person's feelings on the matter, because of course a dead body has no feelings. It's about the personal dignity of someone who was once a living, breathing human being.

That said, it doesn't really matter whether you consider it rape or not, because it's still wrong, so I'm not sure what the use of arguing about it is. I guess if you're looking at it through the lens of what Dexter does, it may be no worse than hacking up a person's body for fun, but it is more disgusting, so now I have to go find some brain bleach before the next Dexter episode comes on. Thanks for that!
