Is anyone saying that a corpse can consent? You're the one comparing living people with dead bodies, saying that it's possible to rape a non-living being and saying we should apply the same rules about rape to dead bodies and people in a vegetative state.

No one is saying that a corpse can consent, because they can't.

And yup, I'm saying exactly what you stated in your last line because the similarity is that they can't consent.
