Yes. the show is shitty now, doesn't mean you don't have to enjoy it.
Let's get over it, yes. the show is far from perfect, yes it's not as good as it used to be, yes, i still like, YES. I LIKE A SHITTY SHOW. There's nothing wrong with that!
But the fact that you like it doesn't make it good.

(Anonymous) 2011-10-26 02:55 am (UTC)(link)This is basically the same argument that I try to make every year the Emmy noms roll around and people freak out over shows/actors that were "snubbed again!!" There are definitely flaws in awards shows, but not all of those supposedly-snubbed shows actually deserve awards either. I wish more people would stop equating enjoyment of a show and quality of it. The two might often be connected, but they aren't necessarily so. And that's OK! Embrace the shittiness!
