So exactly how much scholarship should I do on the horror before I'm allowed to think those uniforms look kind of hot?

I mean, I could read Holocaust memoirs every day and rightfully feel sick from all the horror (Primo Levi's explanation of "morgen fruh" will haunt me until the day I die, I think), but I don't understand why that reaction is supposed to tie in to my reaction to erotica. When will this convergence happen for me, exactly, and why does it have to?

Please to be telling me, where I'm failing in pointing out that pink triangles (yes technically it was for all sexual offences, but if you'd done the reading would be well aware it was almost exclusively gay men), had the worst survival rates, and were frequently treated as badly by everyone else as the guards?
