I don't mind people liking the Nazi aesthetic or their uniforms and such any more than I mind people liking any other military uniform or aesthetic. But there's a very fine line between that and glorifying Nazis themselves and too many people cross it. /shrug

Okay, this fetish you have for Nazi fashion? Why? I mean, I get the bad boy thing but these are the Nazis. This isn't bad boy. This is downright evil. Heck, the SS even advertise it with having the skull and crossbones as part of their every day uniform. No one above the age of fifteen and outside the the Neo Nazi movement thinks it's cool. Instead we think you are trying way too hard to be a badass and, might I add, failing. Putting an anime or manga character in Nazi fashion is about as edgy as running into the middle of Sunday mass and yelling, "Fuck God." It's obnoxious and eye rolling. Grow up.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal to people either. I mean, if it upsets someone I'm friends with, it's just courtesy not to talk to them about it. But I'm not sure why Nazi chic is so much worse than other things. I mean, if I say I love anime drawings of pirate wenches, no one gets all up in about the horrible things pirates have done. But with Nazi uniforms (which may or may not closely resemble actual Nazi uniforms anyway), it's "No, no, don't be intrigued by this kink! Clearly you have no idea they did horrible things!"

Nazi uniform fetish is the ONE kink I know I'll always be shamed for enjoying. The majority of the kink is how goddamn good the uniforms look, but sure, the other small portion is how dirtybadwrong the entire thing is.
