Cry troll all you want, but my thoughts are genuine. I could start posting some of my collected pics, but I suppose all that would prove is that I have access to image search. Though lolling at the idea you all think this is unheard of. In the UK (where I hail from), it is fucking infamous in certain subsets of the gay community.

For starters – dem uniforms. Literally everything about them is perfectly designed. Yeah, all the various fictional knockoffs have their own charm, but nothing quite matches the home source. But that’s what you get when you have the best in the fashion industry meet military uniforms. Secondary to this is the whole zeitgeist. It’s just some ethereal quality that’s hard to put your finger on exactly what, but the whole pure blood Aryan mythology, the marches and public spectacles, the almost worldwide domination of other countries, the attempt at something so ‘great’ (meaning large or immense here), the experiments and camps, the links to the supernatural, the ideology of elite groups trying to take on the world (as inaccurate as a historical reality as that is). They all add up to something much greater than their individual parts, that’s just the ultimate turn-on. And the AUs are fun too.

And it’s not glorification, because its firmly placed in the realm of historical fantasy. Nazism as an ideology is dead. You really think the neo-nazis have absolutely anything in common with individuals such as myself who like their ~japanese animes~ to dress up in the aesthetic?

I suppose the deep irony here is that I’m almost uncomfortably liberal. It would shock anyone who knew me irl or through the web. Arguing for the sapir-whorf hypothesis in one tab, browsing this in the other. But I suppose that’s because I’ve fully embraced the ‘ykinmk’, and realise that as soon as you put this off limits you’re heading into a fucking incoherent mess of doubling down on what’s not acceptable or inherently offensive.

And tbh, I stand by my last line. If you want to talk about how offensive what I do mostly* away from prying eyes is (*mostly, because how many people honestly just step across this by accident) when you see how goddamn homophobic (and sexist for that matter) the average Jewish community is. Iduncurr how offensive this is to you, when you tacitly accept that, and continue to alter the way we view the holocaust. Yes Jewish people disproportionally the worst affected, but millions of other victims suffered during the holocaust, and who the hell are you to tell us how to view and treat it?

I agree with YKINMK. Nazi uniforms do nothing for me in the pants, but I'm not the Fap Police, I'm not going to tell people what they can or can't fap to. Like most kinks, I think it plays into power/control. People like the uniforms because they represent power without conscience, and for a lot of people that's a huge turn-on, in various forms. Extreme power imbalances are the backbone of many kinks, including noncon, chan, and guro. So if you want to defend your kink in terms of fantasy != reality, and YKINMK, you have a pretty solid case there.

I'd advise you to stop there and not go into villifying Jews or the bisexual/Jewish Oppression Olympics. That is a can of worms you do not want to open, and it isn't helping your case one bit. I understand that there's a strong human urge to rationalize and justify things you already like/do and don't want to stop liking/doing. But the fantasy/kink argument is quite enough. I have lived most of my life in a place where homophobia is accepted and welcomed and holocaust denial is common. More people around here meet Neo-Nazis growing up than Jews, and the first queer people I met as a child were through my synagogue at a tolerance protest we held the same time the KKK was rallying. That was my childhood in the contemporary first world. Where I live Nazi imagery is still connected with the desire to rid the world of people who are like me in EITHER OF THE WAYS YOU DESCRIBE. So, yeah, playing murder of Jews against murder and oppression of gays does not go over well here, okay?

You might potentially have some argument to defend your kink from YKINMK... but your conflation of Holocaust issues and your advertising of your ignorance is truly, unequivocally gross. And that is what makes me think that maybe you are being gross in other ways, too: because people who screw up that totally in one way automatically lose my trust.

OP - you are free to have whatever kink you want. But it crosses a totally different line when you start vilifying the Jewish people who lived through that whole ordeal and our community as a whole. I understand the Jews were not the only group selected and persecuted - but you do NOT get to play the whole "I'm bi, and if I'm not offended you shouldn't be either" card. Not with this.

Let me explain a few things to you, since your higher reasoning function seems borked.

1. The Jewish community is not a fucking monolith. There are homophobic Jews and gay Jews, racist Jews and black Jews, sexist Jews and female rabbis. The Jewish community exists on a spectrum of political and social stances, and the thing we have in common is our identity as Jews. You can't say "all Jews are homophobic" any more than you can say "all Christians are homophobic" or "all Brits are homophobic." That's called a sweeping generalisation, children, and is frowned upon in places where logic is a virtue.

2. Some frum Jews are virulently homophobic. That is an acknowledged issue in the community. But it's also changing, and being challenged, and we're fucking working on it, so unless you're a goddamn frum Jew, stop telling us how to deal with our own issues. Do you also call out racial minorities on their racial prejudices? No? Then sit the fuck down and police yourself before you police us.

3. Reform Judaism and to a great extent Conservative Judaism, especially in the United States, is open, inclusive, and performs fucking gay marriages. They have gay rabbis, especially in Reform congregations. If that's your definition of homophobia, then what the fuck are you smoking?

4. Israel is one of the only countries in the Middle East where being gay is not fucking illegal. The Pride Parade in Tel Aviv is huge. There's a large gay community in Tel Aviv, and gay couples are pretty fucking normative in some parts of the city, the same way it is in all major cities in Western counties. We have fucking common law marriages for gay couples in Israel, which is better than most of the US, and the laws are improving. This is fucking homophobia on a vast and terrible scale, how?

You're bi and you've experienced oppression and apparently, you seem to think the Jews are your problem. And maybe you have experienced some oppression, it's impossible to be a sexual minority and not. But for fuck's sake -- stop taking it out on the Jews because you're frustrated and you've bought into a damn extremist image of us that says we're clearly out to shut down your sexy fun tiems and must be the devil incarnate. Work on your own fucking issues before you start worrying what happens in our community.

Really, it's the perfect storm of kinks for some.
