It would have been a better movie if the songs were not in it, and the ugly fiery green scene did not exist at all. Oh, and Bowie getting more screen time then 12 or so minutes.

(It had some good ideas but I never want to sit through that movie again. Keeping this anonymous because my f-list loves it and it's OK to not like things if they are not Labyrinth.)

Not really. I just found watching that the movie didn't really know where it was targeting: young kids, pre-teens or teens. I assume it tried to hit them all and that was why it failed at the box office.
