(Anonymous) 2011-10-26 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)I also love how people are pulling all these reasons out of their asses to hate this new game (saying that Tameem designed Dante after himself; give me break. and yes, I've seen the pictures)
As someone who loves the series dearly and has for a long time, I also wish everyone would just sit down and shut up.
After DMC4, this series was in dire need of something fresh. Dante may have been his usual awesome self, but the game in general was totally drab and lazy as hell. (see: copy&pasting the game halfway through to replay the same levels with a diff chara, a story that wasn't even trying to explain itself, etc.)
