As a person with mental illness, please stop assuming I'm speaking on your behalf.

They did not think they were "helping" her. Adele did not think it counted as rape. They didn't think of her as a human being. Yes, that does make them a bad person.

I don't think I ever heard Adele say it did not count as rape, or that she wasn't mightily pissed off, or that she didn't think of Pria as a human being. Same for Topher.

This is your feeling. Take ownership of it, but don't speak as though it was fact in the show. It wasn't.

And as a fellow person with A mental health issue, I understand how you feel, but morality is not black and white. Right and wrong, not as clear cut as you are describing.

Hmm, yes, I have an issue regarding sticking to the point. Adele did not get angry or call it rape until she discovered Pria wasn't really schizophrenic. If she thought it counted as rape beforehand, she, oh, WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT.

Or she would have done it, but her later suddenly deciding it was rape would make no sense whatsoever in terms of character development or logic. Excuse me to think it's you being stupid here, not the writers.

You are either trolling, or genuinely too stupid for it to be worth even attempting to explain this any further. Logic 101, you need to take it. (Unless you ARE trolling, in which case, I guess you've scored a success.)

For fuck's sake. They are different issues. One is how Adele treated Sierra. One is the two different ways Adele reacted to turning Pria into a doll in the first place. TWO DIFFERENT ISSUES. Jesus Christ. You clearly missed braincell 1, never mind graduating high school.

I have suffered from mental illness. I was raped by someone who claimed to be helping me. cdaae is making sense. You are either not reading what she's saying or you are being a bit thick.

But morality is grey; it's not always black and white. I agree with cdaae in this case.

But if morality is black is white and murder is wrong; then self defense is wrong if it ends in the death of the attacker since it's still murder so the person defending themselves might as well allow themselves to be murdered since they'll be killed for murdering their attacker.

If all theft is wrong, let's punish the person stealing food to feed their family the same way we'll punish someone for stealing art, information, cars to support their cocaine habit or simply b/c they'd rather do this instead of honest work.

you are arguing it is ok to rape someone who is schizophrenic if you think it's for their own good. that is what you're arguing -that it is not clearly wrong, that this is an issue worth arguing about, that it's not clear cut.

yet that isn't even what happens on the show, they don't think they are raping her for her own good, they think they're doing her good so they're entitled to rape her. so not only is your argument sick and twisted, it's not even accurate to the show, so it's also stupid.

i'd say you are the one with the issue.
