My trolldar is never very good, but I'm kinda getting a blip from the idea that you "don't dare make him feel like his efforts were all for naught." Like the sentiments of one nitpicky reader would really deal such a devastating blow to the Husster's confidence? What, are you his mom?

This is Hussie. He drinks soley from the tears of frustrated crying fans. One reader saying they hate something is, to use the 4chan metaphor (since there's one of those secrets here today), pissing in an ocean of piss.

Heck, that's even the case for here. How many directly negative homestruck secrets have their been? That doesn't stop him, this wont.

Not to mention that

1. Homestuck has way too many fans for Hussie to be offended at/care about the whining of one in particular, and
2. Any fandom, especially one this huge, will have a variety of people with different opinions, and there will not be a single thing about canon that EVERYONE will like. It's impossible to please everybody, and I think from the fandom as a whole he's gotten overwhelming praise and delight at [S]Cascade.
