I had hopes for them (especially Sybil) actually because there was potential? But ugh I don't buy her attraction to him (never did, at least this in series) and he's such a Nice Guy and it's just gross and boring. Just give their screentime to Mary or something at least Michelle Dockery can act and make Mary's storyline compelling.

Although this series in general has been kind of a hot mess...

Michelle Dockery is AMAZING. She conveys so much with a simple inflection or expression.

Jessica Brown-Findlay is really not a good actress. I think the audience was supposed to feel like Sybil was conflicted, but that did NOT come across on screen.

Yeah dang Michelle Dockery is flawless. Whenever she emotes I just want to shove all the awards at her and also yell at her for making me feel so many feelings. I reeeally hope she submits a reel or something to the Emmys this year because she really deserves all the awards.

I think JBF was good at playing the ~naive cute innocent youngest sister~ in the beginning and I actually totally bought that she cared a lot about Gwen and her well-being and her dreams (shipped them hardcore tbh!) but I don't know what happened this series! Maybe she just couldn't make the most out of the mediocre writing like Michelle did :/

Maybe JBF just can't do romance? Idk.

Michelle really is the queen at getting every little bit of emotion and nuance out of the script though.

Jessica Brown-Findlay seems to always play it on the surface, I think Laura Carmichael is infinitely a better actress and Michelle Dockery is THE BEST OMG FLAIL

Sybil, to me, has always felt like she was shoehorned into the show for the purpose of having a "modern, feminist" character but she's grown on me this season-apart from Branson, that is.
