I have a big ol' fetish for women in suits. Done right, they just ooze power and confidence. Such a turn-on.

I like guys in lingerie because lingerie is made to draw the eye in such a way that fosters intimacy between the wearer and the viewer.

The power thing is a big one for me too, in the women-in-suits department. They always have this attitude of 'fuck you and fuck your gender roles, we are awesome'.

I'm not sure how I get that suits aren't for women. Don't they make suits for women? Unless they lack boobs they'd at least need to get a man's suit tailored to not look like a potato sack.

Hey, screw you, I'm wearing an untailored 19th-century morning suit to my sixth form ball next year, and I can tell you from trying it on, I look fucking A in it.

They make suits for women, sure, but men's suits can fit fine too. And, for the record, most of my clothes are men's clothes, and aside from the fact that my shirts are all from Oxfam and a bit too big, they fit fine and look good, that's why I wear them.

And personally I LOVE wearing suits, but I always want a waistcoat to go with, and so far the only suit with a waistcoat I've found is Primark >_>

Buy waistcoats separately? Admittedly most of mine are hand-me-downs (one from my grandfather and three from an archaeologist friend of mine), but I'm assuming you're a fellow Brit, in which case, look in vintage shops etc. If you're ever in Edinburgh, Armstrong's (on Haymarket) has some awesome men's waistcoats for about £20 a piece.

Or make one. I'm rather half-heartedly attempting to find a pattern for one, because I have no colourful waistcoats and I want to add a bit of colour to my morning suit. ;) But from what I've heard, making them isn't too hard - no sleeves, after all, it's just the lining that poses a problem.

My current problem is the difficulty of working out cravats and what the correct cravat knot is for evening wear. Anyone?

Hmmm good point, my mum has a pattern somewhere for waistcoats (cos she's made a few for my Dad), I can ask here for it if you want :)
