For me, it's how corsets look when they're flat against men's chests, or the way fishnet emphasizes their legs. Finding this website -- http://xdress.com/ -- did a lot for my crossdressing kink. *cough*

Also, it's fun in anime fandoms, where the boys are ridiculously feminine looking, and get miffed at being shoved into dresses.

For me it's *kind of* a humiliation kink. It's the fact this feminine thing is meant to emphasize weakness/fragility/vulnerability, and when a male is forced into this situation and is seen as those things it's like, the hottest thing in the world to me. I think I'd like it for women characters too, except social gender roles being the way they are, there's no real shame in female characters being forced to be delicate/frail.

I like cross-dressing (men and women) because I'm into androgyny, stuff that flips gender roles and expectations, etc. It's not a huge kink for me, but it is something that I find exciting. The cross-dressing isn't directly related to humiliation, though that can become a part of the role-play.

For a lot of people it IS humiliation kink, and that bullshit drives me up a wall. It perpetuates the idea that women's things are weak, and that to be even SIMILAR to women is a punishment.

Supposed "women's" clothing is slinky, restrictive or revealing. I think it's a shame that people associate those adjectives with women only. Men have sexy parts to reveal, too, so I enjoy crossdressing when guys are wearing gorgeous outfits proudly. And to paraphrase Eddie Izzard, they aren't women's clothes when they don't belong to a woman.

I don't find crossdressing sexy in any way (weirdly, it's even a squick, for some reason, but only in anime/manga--which... idek, weirdness!), but I find it hard to see that's it's impossible to intellectually understand why some people might find something sexy/alluring/fun to look at/whatever. Not thinking its hot doesn't meant you can't get it in a sort of detached way.

And if you can't, well... people get turned on by shit that doesn't turn other people on. Like shoes. So... yeah. Think of it like shoes.

For me, I think it's super-hot when somebody's sliding their hand up under someone's skirt, whether the person wearing the skirt is a man or a woman. I don't know, I just like that sensation, and the strange sense of awareness and vulnerability that's at the back of your mind when you're wearing a skirt and can feel your own thighs brushing together. But with men, because there's a chance they might not wear skirts/dresses regularly, they might be experiencing that for the first time, which just adds to the intensity.

I'm not really into crossdressing as a kink, but for me, any appeal it has is that it does go against expectations. I love genderfucking.

I do think the humiliation aspect is a big part of it for some people, and that's largely why I can't relate to it as a kink. I don't get it either. I think a lot of the time, when people say it's hot, their exposure is from pretty anime/romanticized fics. So of course it's sexy, it's played up that way.

I like my men masculine and my women feminine though. Whatever floats everyone's boat.
