Yea. Simba's never like "Hey sis, wanna go make out?"

Do they even mention siblings at all in the film, besides Scar and Mufasa?

Now that you mention it, they don't.

Mufasa and Scar seem to be the only siblings. It isn't mentioned - or even hinted at - that Simba and Nala are related at all.

You have to apply real-world logic to the movie to get squicked. And we all know what happens when you apply real-world logic to Disney movies. Everyone ends up hurting and unhappy LOL.

No, but there was a lot of background stuff that had to be cut out for time. There were plans for Sarabi to have a sister and Nala to have a little brother.

I read about it in the lion king wiki. Apparently a lot of development information has been released with the new DVD release.

I found it very interesting, the world they first came up with is much richer than the one we see in the film, with more family, more cubs etc. Undastandably it all had to be cut to make a tighter film, and I think the movie was better for it, but it does make me wish there was a Lion King tv series.
