I spent the entirety of season 5 not buying their relationship one bit. Rory carried a torch the size of the sun, yeah, but Amy only seemed to care when he was dying and still made repeated notions of snogging the Doctor on her wedding day.

Come season 6, COMPLETELY DEVOTED TO AND FOREVER IN LOVE WITH RORY. I get that there was a timeskip where they were on their own for a while but it still felt really jarring to me.
