I'm still scared of the little bastard: the way he comes in from outside and up the stairs, the hiding in the toys, screaming and his elongated neck at Drew Barrymore. Nevermind the fact that he's got that voice and the wrinkles and oh god, when he turns white like a maggot? Nightmare fuel.
My dad had to be a dick and get me a stuffed ET plushie. Where I lived, the door was removed from my doorway so I would barricade it with stuffed animals and a chair before I went to sleep, as if that would stop ET. It didn't help when every time I threw that ET plushie out of my room, it'd always somehow make it back in there /sob.
