Please do not think that I'm insulting you, or anything, but you are really taking this too personally. People make scathing remarks about actors without giving them too much thought is insanely common and shallow more often than not.

Just because you and him are both gay (and possibly look similar? I'm not sure if I understood right), and people insult him, doesn't mean that they are insulting you. They don't know you! It's not you in the tv show.

Um...what does Kurt being gay have anything to do with his physical appearance?

I think Kurt is fugly as hell, but it has nothing to do with his homosexuality. I just don't find him attractive.

Here's the things: people are dicks. At least some of them are. They do make fun of how someone looks, talks, walks etc. If someone is in the public eye - like Chris Colfer - they will get that a thousandfold more than the average guy in the street.

I agree. I think the people who hate him for his appearance and/or singing are being judgmental assholes. It's one thing to not like the way he looks, even expressing what it is you find unattractive of him is alright in my book, it's another thing entirely to sit there and make fun of or hate him because of it.

Don't let it get to you. Women don't, considering actresses are the number one target of ugly remarks.

I'll always be the first one to judge Kurt but if he has a positive effect on you that's good, i guess.

FUCKING THIS. You can make fun of the show all you want (in fact, oftentimes I think it's quite necessary), but he seems like a great person and I fucking hate how shallow people are about him (and other people as well). I know, I know, welcome to the internet, but really: with writing that absurd, you'd think they'd prioritize their mocking a little better and not be such assholes. They really, really take it over the top and it's annoying. (I hope things get better for you. ♥ My best friend was in the same situation; he just came out at almost 24 and is still working through stuff. I hope you have some good friends to help you.)

I don't like it when people go overboard over his appearance either. Make fun of his acting or attitude or whatever, but making fun of appearances is petty.

Though from what I've of seen people making fun of his appearance, it has nothing to do with him being gay. They just don't like his smile and stuff. You may be relating to him too much, unless you also happen to look like him.

Glee is a big fandom, so every character/actor/actress is going to get mocked, unfortunetly people troll and this happens. Please try not to take it personally...find people who like the actor/char and hang with them.

I think that as a person Chris Colfer IS pretty cool. But he was kinda fugly at the beginning of the year (anyone else notice how he's gone through a bit of a growth spurt? Most pictures of him about him being fugly are from 2009/2010).

I'm actually going to focus on the portion that hasn't been addressed: the fact that you're not talking to your therapist. If there's some reason you don't want to talk to the one you already see, find one you CAN talk to. Don't knock therapy until you've actually given it a fair shot. It sounds like you know what's making you upset, but what's the good in that unless you can actually share it with someone and learn from it? Please, use the therapist! It's what he/she is there for! Why waste the hour talking about random inconsequential shit when you could actually be working on FEELING BETTER and changing your thought patterns?

I don't like him because he look zero% humble, is always acting so smug and proud like it was my fault he was bullied in RL and is showing me he's better than me but this has nothing to do with him being gay. I don't find find him attractive and this has nothing to do with him being gay.
