Is this about ponies? Because everyone has all these piles of headcanon from the first season that is slowly becoming very wrong and I've noticed a lot of fans are getting upset about it.

Not OP, but I could see this being about MLP. For the most part, people have been really excited about what we've found out this season about Luna and Rarity, but there are people complaining that the creators got the characters "wrong" because it contradicts their own popular headcanon. I'm not in the fic-writing side of fandom, but I can imagine it being even worse there - there are always people who can't deal with their fic being Jossed and would rather cling to their headcanon (to the point of being dicks to people who follow actual canon) than slap an AU label or a disclaimer that it was written before the newest episodes on their old fic. >:I

Yeah, it's ponies. All I want to write is in character Princess Luna fanfiction, but all anyone wants to read is insanely shy, quiet Luna.

Write it write it write it. :D I love canon!Luna so much more than fanon!Luna (the quiet, retiring fanon!Luna anyway) and would love to read more fic about her. I hope you've posted it!

Yes, I agree with the person above me. Write it!! :D Canon!Luna is 1020% cooler times better than the stupid woobie, moe, Woona blob some of those fanboys have created. Not that I completely hate shy!Luna (i like her in small doses), but CANTERLOT VOICE, socially inept, bad ass!Luna? HELLS YES!!!
