idk, I'm not American, but Mizz Nina seems to be doing okay. I think you could say the same about a lot of small-town bands too. You want them to do well but they don't because they don't get the right publicity, some Asian bands don't either.

But all in all, I don't see the big deal. Why does Asian music need to be recognised in America anyway? I'm not that into music myself and I know Jin Akanishi. That says enough about his popularity I think.

Because they have the largest market for music in the world? If one Asian act could make it big, it might pave the way for others.
