I can like them in small doses, it's when I listen to more then, like, three songs in a row that I can't stand them. It's when I realize every song sounds the same! So annoying, it gets whiny and obnoxious to listen to.

Their music is so terrible, but "Going Under" is my guilty pleasure, and I think "What You Want" might become one as well. It all sounds the same and the lyrics are hilariously bad, but it's so catchy and I do like Amy Lee's voice.

Pff, I love their music. Not even in a guilty pleasure way, even if it seems like I should. Perhaps it's partly nostalgia--I was about 14 and rather emo when they were at their height of popularity.

In my many years of working out, I've noticed that good music and good gym music aren't always the same.
I like reggae, but it's way too chill for the gym (for me).
I normally don't care for Katy Perry, but my gym playlist has a LOT of her stuff.

So whether it conforms to your regular likes/dislikes or not, there's no shame in working out to whatever makes you move!

I think the lyrics are lovely. But, you know, people can like or not like whatever they want, yadda yadda. What I find "rediculous" about this secret is "eyeliner and Tim Burton". Never heard that one before. *eyeroll*

My beef with Evanescence is that they are the "face" of female-fronted metal and they're just not that great. I mean, they're not BAD as such,but they're just not amazing. Amy's voice is technically good but not terribly interesting. I just can't help feeling that there are much better examples of female-fronted metal, most of which never leave Europe.
