I generally dislike the whole "I gave up fun, dammit, and watching you guys go on having it like a bunch of rubes infuriates me
and kinda makes me want to join in, so cut it out. >:(" attitude. It's so joyless and... Well, just needlessly cranky. And kinda immature.Also, I don't like how people think being socially awkward is inherently a bad thing. Sure, some awkward people are jerks, but so are some super poised and polished people. In fact, the latter group is kind of worse because they're actually good at it. A lot of the best people I've known have been sort of clumsy/off with regard to social skills, but still super nice.

What's funny is I know people who left fandom and they just talk about what they are doing and... that's it. But some people obviously use the opportunity to make fun of everyone, which I don't get.
