I find the gendering in this discussion so weird, given the percentage of straight people (and lesbians) who engage in anal sex. It's... not uncommon, and anal sex is anal sex.

Well, the OP specified slash, so to me that = m/m. But yeah, anal is popular with all orientations. I'd like to see more of it in het fic, personally. LOTS more.
