Can't say much about the other characters but, dude, Daryl gave me nightmares. I think it was the way HM:AWL always did close ups of his face during his creepy cutscenes. ...or the fact that you catch him spying on your kid at one point.

I'm pretty sure at some point he sneaks onto your farm and is planning to abduct your cows for weird experiments or something.

Also he is keeping my future wife locked up in his basement and it freaks me out.
