Whenever I see this photoshoot, all I can think is "damn it, Lea!" I mean, I don't hate on her or anything, she's incredibly savvy about how to make sure she's the central focus in every photo, but this always feels like the one step too far. You're in the front, gurl, you're in the centre, you don't need your arse hanging out on top of that and your duck lips. Especially because, judging by how she poses in other photos, I can honestly imagine the lifted skirt being entirely her idea (my suspicions aren't helped by all those random twirls she kept throwing in at the start of season 3 when they kept putting her in empire-waisted babydolls, so her panties were on display). Seriously, look at any group promo shot for Glee. If everyone has their mouth closed, Lea has hers open. If everyone has their mouth open, Lea has hers closed. If everyone is looking to the side, she looks directly at the camera. If everyone is looking directly at the camera, she's looking elsewhere. She's always the ONLY one breaking uniform, so it immediately draws the attention to her, and I can't imagine EVERY director of EVERY photoshoot has told her to do this over three seasons - she clearly takes the initiative on her own. It's really one of those 'what has been seen cannot be unseen' things - once you notice it, it's all you can see!

Regardless of this being the norm or not... I'm with you, OP. I can't watch it or listen to it. I lost all respect for them after they raped my ears with their covers of Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Beatles.

Side-related, is it possible to be invested in (some) of the glee characters - but not really enjoy the show/don't even bother watching the show because I don't like it. Am I a fan or a hater, I don't even know myself.

I'd moved passed Glee because I just couldn't stand the writing anymore. But I had no idea the hate I had apparently been harboring until a preview for that new New Years movie (or whatever its called) and irrational rage filled me the second I saw Lea's face. :/

I think I find it most offensive that this show tries to promote music. I hate it when people say they like this show for the MUSIC. I'm always like, uh, yeah I heard some stellar auto-tuning in that last episode, what are YOU talking about?

I'm sure the kids can actually sing, and sometimes the songs are well done [the Adele mash up was great, PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WASN'T AUTO TUNED TO DEATH]

But seriously, call me when we get a show that is actually about the music, okay?
