Agreed, this was also the reason I wasn't fond of her. This is a character type that bothers me a great deal.

I think this may just be an example of some people viewing a trait as strong and some viewing it as weak. In this case, facing her death for the greater good is considered an example of strength to some, I feel more along the lines that if she had been truly strong, she wouldn't have done what everyone expected of her.

I'm beginning to believe more than anything she was just a poorly written character in my eyes.
